Leadership for excellence

At Lukenya Girls High School we believe every girl can thrive when she is known, supported and expected to do well. Ours is a school that uses every resource and opportunity it has to grow students — academically, socially and in character.

Under new leadership from January 2026, we are building on a proven tradition: disciplined learning, a warm boarding home, and a community where girls support one another towards a common goal they all understand.

Results that reflect how we work every day

Our 2025 KCSE candidates posted a school mean of 7.482, with 41 of 58 girls (71%) qualifying for direct university entry. Behind those numbers is a steady, well-supported learning culture — the same culture now carrying our learners into CBC Senior School.

The same excellence, now under CBC

Kenya's education system is transitioning to the Competency-Based Curriculum. Lukenya Girls is ready: we admit learners into CBC Senior School (Grade 10) and continuing Form 3 (8-4-4), carrying forward the teaching habits that produced our KCSE results.

Our academic culture isn't tied to one exam — it's built on strong teaching, individual attention and a love of learning. That is exactly what Senior School pathways reward.
